The Master’s Programme (MP) meets the demands and ambitions of every new scholar/scientist, as well as those already established in the professional field who are seeking specialized knowledge in the various aspects of international and European studies. The Programme offers an interdisciplinary and integrated approach to critical issues in international and European politics, law, economics, and security, while simultaneously enhancing students’ analytical and professional skills. Specifically, it covers International Relations, Law and Strategy, the phenomenon of European Integration and its individual aspects, such as the institutional system and governance of the EU, the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP), European Political Economy, as well as issues of International Political Economy, including the International Trade and Monetary System and Business Strategy. The MP faculty includes academics with an international reputation, Ambassadors, and field experts.

Beyond the courses, the MP is enriched by a range of activities that add value to the learning outcomes and experience of the students: Erasmus+ mobility for internships abroad, seminars, workshops, conferences and summer schools, study trips to the headquarters of European Bodies and International Organizations, simulation exercises, webinars, microlearning programmes, meetings with Greek and foreign ambassadors and academics, internships in Greece, participation in the activities and research programmes of the Department’s Laboratories, and many others.

The MP in International and European Studies is addressed to those who wish to become senior and top-level executives in International Organizations, the Diplomatic Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, public and private organizations, analysis institutes and consulting services, financial organizations and businesses, as well as other bodies in the private and public sector. The MP aims both at the academic development of postgraduate students and the creation of leading executives and scientists who will contribute to the country’s progress. The careers of the Programme’s past graduates serve as testament to the value of their high-quality postgraduate studies.
